WHO THIS GIRL IS: My name is Jamie. I don't look like I am in my early twenties, but I act like it...most of the time. As my 'Facts' indicate, I am loud. My voice carries farther than I think it does. I have a loud laugh, too. Though I do know when to be quiet. I love Jesus. If you read below, you will see that I am a Christian. God is at the center of my life. He is my everything. He is the whole reason why I am here. Sometime in the future, I want to start speaking. I love talking about God, and my relationship with Him. I want to be able to help disciple others in their walks in Jesus, though ultimately, it is their choice and they have to want to be like Jesus. I'm just a servant to God. Everything I do, I pray that it is done for the glory of God.
MY RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS: I am a child of God (1 John 3:1). I have been a Christian since I was 9 years old. When I got saved, I did not understand what being a Christian meant. I understood that God loved me and that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ,  to die the most horrible death: death on a cross. I understood that I am a sinner as well. I understand all of this to this day. But I did not understand that as a Christian, I am to grow in Christ. To become more like Christ. That all change one day when I was 16. God got a hold of me and showed me that I AM His child and that as His child, I am to live like this. From there, I laid my life before God, and re-committed my life to God. Ever since then, life has been one big journey. I go through valleys and climb up mountain tops. All with Jesus right by my side. God has also given me a passion for people. He has called me into Women's Ministry. I pray that God will use me for His honor and glory. Amen.
WHERE SHE IS FROM: Let's just say I'm from down South. As well as friends saying I'm a Southern Belle with a northern accent. Just because I say a few words or phrases the way a person from the north would. Especially, "Oh my gosh!" or just completely random words that slip and they stick.
HOW OLD SHE IS: No one ever guesses my age correctly. I guess it can be a good thing for when I get older. Oh, and if you don't know how old I am, I'm not telling. ;)
WHAT SHE IS DOING: I am currently attending a Christian college. It's already been such a big blessing in my life. God is already changing me and shaping me into the person He wants me to be.

GRATITUDE

GOD, For Saving me and loving me unconditionally and being so patient with me and teaching me all that you have. You've given me like so that I can honor and glorify you. I pray that my life does honor and glorify you even if I do not realize it.
MOM & DAD, Words cannot describe all y'all have done for me and continue to do. You have both taught me so much and have shaped me into the person I am today. I could not have asked for better parents.
CHRIS & JEN, You both have come a long way. I can tell you that for sure. Thank you for including me in your lives and for letting me be me. For all the "jobs" and the "listening" both of you have given and done. Not to mention you are both very awesome parents and have the most beautiful and wonderful child that I am very proud to be called "Aunt Jamie".
TIM, For being the most awesome and sometimes annoying little brother that I could ever have. I can't wait to see what you will be like when you grow up. It's already hard to believe how old you are now and that you are [finally] taller than me. heh You will always be my "little" Timmy.
JESSICA G., I cannot believe how quickly we bonded and not to mention all that we have in common. You really are my twin. I am so glad God brought you into my life. It's so awesome to be able to have someone who has and is going through the same thing I am going through. Thank you for listening to me rant so much.
STEPHANIE, one word: JOKIN'! HAHA! I'm so glad I met you that first day of school. Ever since then we've had such great talks, whether they be about something stupid we've done (which is always) or something serious. God has just totally amazed me at the friendships He's blessed me with thus far at Crichton. Thanks for all the advice, too.
JESSICA H., It still amazes me how God brought you into my life. We are so much alike, and that just completely amazes me. I truly consider you one of my closest and dearest friends and I know that I can come to you for any advice, or if I even need someone to listen to me ramble on.
FRAN, Yep, just like Jessica H., it amazes me how God brought you into my life. God has blessed me beyond comprehension with your friendship. I absolutely love the fact that you, me, and Jess H. can stay up till 5 a.m. talking about a "certain subject" and not never have nothing to say about it. It also amazes me how close we have gotten within such a short period of time.
TO ANYONE ELSE I DID NOT MENTION, your friendships continue to remind me just how blessed I am. Thank you for your acceptance, love, advice, fellowship, and [many] inside jokes . I love you all!
