Books can take you on trips to another world and put you right into that story as a main character...if you just let your imagination take you there. There are many books that I have read and have enjoyed very much. Many have made me laugh at the characters, others have made me ponder upon my own life and reflect on how I can change for the better, and some have brought me to tears, whether it be joyous or sad. The list of books I have on this page may not be for everyone, but I do hope that one recommendation will strike you to want to read the book I am recommending. Enjoy! --- Waterfalls by Robin Jones Gunn - This was the first Christian
Romance novel I ever read. The world in which it written seems very unlikely
that it would happen in real life, but then again you never know what God will
bring your way. At least that's what I think the main character thought when she
met an actor who she had been a fan on. After getting to know him she falls in
love with him, but it takes him awhile to see that he has fallen in love with
her. Although, he does not realize this until they are forced to work with each
other. Redeeming Love by
Francine Rivers - This is without a doubt, my
most favorite book, ever! This book is about a girl named Angel who for all her
life knew nothing except for how much men hurt her. But then she meets Michael
Hosea. Through Michael, God shows Angel just how much He loves her. This is an
amazing picture of how much God loves his children. Angel also learns how to
learn and be loved. I have recommended this book to so many people and have
talked to many who also love this book. I've even met a girl who has said she
will not settle for any guy less than a Michael Hosea. The Memory Book by Penelope J Stokes - This is a wonderful book full of mystery, faith, and the importance of families and friendships. As Penelope herself would, "A story of how the past can redeem the future...and how the future can redeem the past." Phoebe is hiding the truth of her past of which she doesn't even know the whole truth and is afraid to marry her fiancé because of her past. Through this memory book that she finds, she learns to not be afraid to tell not only her fiancé, but her friends as well, of the secret of her past. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown - Currently Reading.
